Nothing There 7pm 8 October 2013 (Tuesday) Trafó House of Contemporary Arts
“Performed to thudding jazz, the piece plays out a waking dream shot through with bizarre terrors. Half-glimpsed tableaux reminiscent of David Lynch’s film Eraserhead morph into surreal ballroom sequences in swimsuits and spats that pay homage to Pina Bausch. Vignettes of pain, fear and sadness swim dreamily against a lighting track of eye-popping strangeness. Extraordinary.” (Luke Jennings, The Guardian)
Alibi – an hour and half of interrogation with lots of music and dance
19:00 2 April 2013 (Tuesday) Katona József Theatre Kamra
“The act captures intimacy, beauty, and anguish behind a plane of glass, spotlighting appearances, the ordinary and the banal, the cabaret-farce-revue genre, coarseness, and human experiments aimed at eradicating pride and self-respect. All the while, Szabó seems to encourage us, with an intelligent but gentle touch, to stare our own worst fears in the eye.” (Krisztina Horeczky, Népszabadság)
