Originally intended for performance in shopping malls, this unusual fashion show focuses on the plastic bag, this indispensable fixture of the consumer society. The public-space performance employs garments and accessories made by the Hungarian designer Enikő Bodnár exclusively from shopping bags and plastic wrap. Packed full of comic visual effects, this veritable recycling revue features plastic-bagged pimps and plastic kittens performing their grotesque numbers in the company of nylon creatures and limbs sticking out of — what else — plastic bags.

At the Sarajevo International Theater Festival, Nylon Revue was awarded the prize for the most original show. The piece was presented among others in Eindhoven (NL), Kortrijk (B), Berlin (D), Warsaw and Tczew (PL) in open-air and museum spaces.
